Scary Statistics for California Housing

Scary Statistics for California Housing

In the spirit of Halloween, we wanted to share some of the scary statistics

that show housing and mortgage related problems are still lurking from the economic downturn. While there have been significant strides in California’s recovery, these numbers confirm we still have a ways to go. The information below came from various recent reports distributed by CoreLogic, RealtyTrac, Zillow and the California Employment Development Department.

Fifty Community Events in Two Months

Keep Your Home California had a presence at 50 community outreach events throughout California in September and October. The recent increase in events is encouraging because local events provide people with an opportunity to learn more about the organizations that can help them with their financial hardships, in their own communities. Several of our partner housing counseling agencies hosted and/or participated at the events during the past two months.

We appreciate all of the event sponsors who invited us to participate in their events and hope that the growth in events will be a continuing trend. Our team welcomes the opportunities we are given to raise awareness about the programs. If you would like to have a Keep Your Home California representative at a free community event you are hosting, please contact our Community Outreach Liaison Denise Teora. You can also get Keep Your Home California information to distribute at your event, by visiting our Materials webpage.

If you would like more information about the free community events across the state where you can find more information about Keep Your Home California and other resources, please visit the Calendar of Events webpage.
