Working Together to Prevent Elder Financial Abuse

Concerned about elders in your life? Want to learn more for yourself? This free community education event will address current financial scams and fraud that targets older adults and what can be done to recognize and prevent them.

The Roundtable will bring together state and regional experts, including representatives from the Central Coast Commission for Senior Services, San Luis Obispo County Office of the District Attorney, San Luis Obispo County Adult Protective Services, Sheriff’s Department and Security Investigations from a local financial institution to discuss collaborative efforts in the work to build awareness and improve coordination of services to prevent financial abuse.

**Community Roundtable attendees are welcome to stay and attend a special training session for banks and credit unions starting at 10:30 am until Noon.**
