Money Smart for Older Adults Train-the-Trainer Event

Registration now open.

The CFPB will conduct a train-the-trainer event in Sacramento to introduce and promote the CFPB/FDIC Money Smart for Older Adults consumer education module. The new training resource contains 150 minutes of presentation material on common frauds, scams and other forms of financial exploitation.

The speakers, Jenefer Duane, CFPB and Spike Keil, FDIC will introduce participants to the modules’ tools and content; and provide tips on how to plan and deliver an effective presentation for older adults, family/caregivers and other community members.

Who should attend:

Banks, Credit Unions, Law Enforcement, Adult Protective Services, Government, Community Organizations and Faith-Based Organizations are encouraged to attend.
