CU-PIE Speech Competition

Credit Union Partners in Education (CU-PIE) are hosting their annual 2013 speech competition in support of financial literacy for the greater Sacramento area.  As a board member for this non-profit, SAFE Credit Union continues to support CU-PIE’s financial literacy efforts and is eager to create awareness around the lack of financial education in our community through the speech competition.  This year’s theme is “Financial Bite…Bite of Reality”.  Credit union employees are encouraged to participate in the speech competition as advocates for financial literacy.  The proceeds from this event go to the CU-PIE board, who works to increase financial education through train-the-trainer sessions, presentations and by providing financial literacy materials.

April 18th from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
