In 2012, Bank of the West continued to sponsor Junior Achievement (JA) programs and our volunteers visited classrooms to teach students financial literacy lessons. JA empowers young people to own their economic success. Its volunteer-delivered, K-12th grade programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and uses experiential learning to inspire students to develop competitive skills and confidence.
