Sammy’s on a Global Mission
Sammy, children’s author and songwriter Sam X Renick, and the It’s a Habit team are on a global mission to educate and encourage children to establish smart money habits and life skills, like saving money, reading, writing, etc.
Sammy’s New Goal
Exciting news! Sammy has just launched the Great Money Habits for Kids Series that features original songs, stories, and author-songwriter interviews from Sammy Rabbit’s award winning audio library. Sammy’s goal is to see the series is in every classroom, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, and youth organization library throughout the nation. Sammy envisions children of every age, ethnicity and income level singing, dancing, reading and celebrating smart money habits while they actively build their future and work to make big dreams like going to college and being financially independent come true.
Sammy’s Financial Literacy Month News
This April Sammy will be working with the following partners to bring the Sammy Rabbit Character and Author Live Experience to classrooms and youth venues throughout Southern California: Sammy and Salesian High School students are teaming to deliver presentations to more than 1,000 students at 10 grade schools in East Los Angeles; The Rotary Club of Glendale (Noon) is having Sammy Rabbit take his messages on making saving and reading habits to over 300 students in Glendale Unified School District. Every student will receive the award winning book It’s a Habit, Sammy Rabbit! to take home and reinforce lessons learned; Pasadena Federal Credit Union and the Girl Scouts are having Sammy visit 3 troop gatherings to sing S-A-V-E and change lives one dime at a time!
