AICPA Introduces New Web Site: 360 Degrees of Taxes

Interested in understanding the effects a life-changing event, like marriage or college, can have on your taxes?

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants launched an new Web site: 360 Degrees of Taxes.

No matter how many times you’ve filed taxes before, there’s almost always something that leaves you scratching your head. To help alleviate tax confusion, the American Institute of CPAs is launching a new site, designed by CPAs, for individuals to find tax resources, tips, FAQs and much more—www.360Taxes.org.

In addition to articles, tips and checklists, 360 Degrees of Taxes offers an Ask-A-CPA section, where a real CPA will answer your individual questions. But if you’re more comfortable speaking with someone face-to-face, the site has tools to help you find, choose and work with a CPA in your area. With rigorous testing, about 150 hours of education, and state licensing, you know you can trust their advice.

360 Degrees of Taxes also has a calendar highlighting events happening in your area, such as tax education programs, estate planning classes and other free events organized by the CPA society.

You can search articles for tips and information to keep tax-filing-stress out of your life. Any tax question you have, from which form to fill out to any stage of your life that may affect your taxes, you’ll find it here.  And it’s all designed to be easy to use and relevant to your needs.
